Chrisean Rock has been a controversial figure over the last few years, but is working on getting her life in order and reconnecting with God. Tory Lanez recently shared his divine wisdom with her from a jail cell.
Rock shared a video on her Instagram story, which included audio from their phone call. “I’m not one of them n****s who’s going to sit here and preach to you,” the Brampton artist said. The “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad)” artist expressed that she appreciated him and that his encouragement meant a lot. Lanez acknowledged what she had been going through before making some suggestions.
“You just got to take that time and be intimate with him, bro,” he said, referring to God. “He wants you to actually spend some time with him. Spend some time in prayer away from people. Spend some time where you’re not worrying about what everybody’s talking about. Turn off the phone, spend a couple hours with him just for the next couple of days.”
Rock expressed her love for the “Jerry Sprunger” singer and said “FREE YOU HE INNOCENT [100 emoji].”
It’s been a little under a year since the 25-year-old rapper was released from Craig County Detention Center in Vinita, Okla. She was arrested in June 2024 for felony drug charges and a parole violation stemming from a case in 2022.
Her allegations included possessing a controlled substance with intent to distribute and failing to have a tax stamp on the drugs. If convicted, she would have spent eight years in prison. Lanez, on the other hand, is serving his 10-year sentence from shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. This past May, he was stabbed fourteen times by a fellow inmate. Specifically, he suffered seven stab wounds to his back, four to his torso, two to the back of his head, and one to the left side of his face.
