Shefali Jariwala‘s sudden death has left everyone in shock. She passed away on June 27 due to a heart attack; she was 42. Shefali’s last rites were performed at Mumbai’s Oshiwara Crematorium on June 28. Her funeral was attended by close friends and family members.

Vishal Aditya Singh, a close friend of Shefali and a co-contestant at Bigg Boss 13, shared that the two had planned for a meeting. However, their plan turned into a tragic event on the same day. The actor shared a screenshot of his chat with Shefali Jariwala, which left everyone in shock. For the unversed, Shefali Jariwala and Vishal Aditya Singh entered the Bigg Boss 13 house and developed a close friendship with each other. Vishal shared that the actress had planned to meet him on June 27, around 10 pm, the same day she died. Vishal shared the screenshot and wrote, ‘Jari.’
Entertainment Shefali Jariwala’s last rites
Shefali Jariwala’s husband, Parag Tyagi, along with his family members, arrived at the crematorium to collect the ashes of his wife, Shefali Jariwala, on June 29. An inside video from the Oshiwara crematorium shows the actor performing rituals, performing Shefali’s last rites as per the guidance of a priest. The actor was overcome with emotion, clinging to a small pouch likely containing his late wife’s belongings as family members struggled to support him. Parag’s family members carried him to the car as he broke down, devastated by the loss of his wife.
Parag and his family walked towards the Juhu beach and immersed Shefali’s ashes. Everyone, including Shefali’s mother, Sunita, broke down as she said her final farewell to the departed soul.
Shefali’s friends and Bigg Boss 13’s co-contestants attended the funeral to pay tribute to the departed soul. Arti Singh, Mahira Sharma and Paras Chhabra were seen at the funeral and were devastated. Hindustani Bhau, with Parag and others, carried her, performing her last rites.
On June 27, Shefali Jariwala was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai, where she was declared dead on arrival. She was sent to the Cooper Hospital for a postmortem. However, as per reports, she died due to a heart attack.
