Reports about Jessica Hines’ purported relationship with Aamir Khan initially made headlines in India in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The matter has again resurfaced after Aamir’s brother Faisal Khan brought it up in a press conference.

After Bollywood actor Faissal Khan, the brother of Aamir Khan, made shocking charges in a recent interview, British writer and journalist Jessica Hines found herself back in the limelight. Long-distant from his family, Faissal claimed that Aamir had an unwed child with Jessica Hines. This accusation has sparked renewed interest in Jessica and her relationship with Aamir.

Although neither Jessica nor Aamir openly addressed the matter in depth, rumours of their relationship and later conjecture about her having a kid persisted for years in gossip columns.

Faissal held a news conference on August 18 to discuss his family’s attempts to show his mental instability. Faisal also talked candidly about Jaan and Jessica. Faissal said, “When I was angry with my family, I wrote a letter. They used to tell me to get married; there was a lot of pressure. I wrote a letter, in which I wrote to every family member, ‘What are you?’ Nikhat, my sister, got married three times. Aamir was married, got divorced from Reena, and then he had a relationship with Jessica Hines, with whom he also has an illegitimate child, out of wedlock. So I wrote all that in the letter. He was living with Kiran at that time.”
