The Xiaomi Watch 5 launched in China in late December, and now it’s headed to international markets, including the EU, according to a new report from Czechia. The global version of the watch will run Wear OS, and the price in Czechia will allegedly be CZK 7,990, which right now translates into approximately €329. The watch will apparently be offered in Juniper Green and black.
While this price applies to the model without data connectivity, a Polish comparison site suggests the version with eSIM is also headed to the EU.

The Xiaomi Watch 5 has an insanely big (for a watch, of course) 930 mAh battery (all hail Si/C tech!). It comes with a 1.54″ AMOLED screen with 480×480 resolution, 1,500-nit peak brightness, and a 2.6mm round bezel, 5 ATM water resistance, the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC aided by a power-saving BES2800 co-processor, Bluetooth 5.4, a heart rate monitor with blood oxygen saturation measurement, an ECG sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, compass, barometer, and ambient light sensor.
The device comes with an EMG sensor too, which picks up electrical signals from the muscles in your hand and can convert them into gestures for controlling the UI. The watch also has over 150 sport modes. It measures 47 x 47 x 12.3 mm and weighs 56g.
