Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Niyati Joshi aka Swarna Goenka has confirmed her exit from the show. The actress penned down an emotional note.

Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the longest running show. It has been loved since 2009. There have been many amazing stories in the show. Until now, we have seen four generation stories and every story has been beautiful. Currently, we have the fourth generation story of Abhira and Armaan. Recently, the show took a leap of seven years and everything changed in the storyline. Many actors have left the show. Recently, Saloni Sandhu and Garvita Sadhwani confirmed their exit from the show. Saee Barvee aka Surekha is also reportedly leaving.

Entertainment Niyati Joshi quits YRKKH

Now, another important character of the show is bidding adieu. Swarna Goenka will no longer be seen in Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Niyati Joshi played the role of Swarna for a long time. She started her journey during the second generation story of Kartik and Naira. Niyati had replaced Parul Chauhan.

Currently, it is shown that Swarna, Manish, Surekha, Ruhi, Daksh, Abhir and Charu were in Japan. Charu passed away after along battle with cancer. Abhir returned to Udaipur recently. Now, it seems the Goenkas will also not return back. Niyati took to Instagram stories to bid an emotional goodbye to the show and Swarna.

She wrote, “They say that nothing in life lasts forever, Its time to bid an emotional farewell to my character SWARNA, in YEH RISHTA KYA KEHKATA HAI, after 6 glorious years but the countless memories, beautiful friendships and the respect and adulation it brought me, will last a lifetime. DKP will always remain my 2nd home. Not easy to say GOODBYE to something that was so close to my heart. YRKKH I WILL MISS YOU.”
